Hey,
I've got a room to rent in my home as my current flatmate is off to pastures new. It's a great, really spacious apartment in King's Cross just off York Way (about a 10 minute walk from the station).
The flat - it has a large open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen that lead out onto a west facing balcony (sun all afternoon and evening) and you can catch spectacular sunsets from the flat most months of the year. It's got a very homely cozy feel to it. On a clear night, the light pollution is low enough to see the stars! It's just off the beaten track enough to forget you're right in central London.
The room - it's a furnished large room and as I have an en-suite, you effectively have your own bathroom.
Me: I'm self-employed and I've just finished a degree in Anthropology. I go through very busy and then very relaxed phases but I'm really sociable and love hanging out. I'm quite eco-aware and would like someone like-minded. I'm clean but not anal and we have a cleaner who comes every fortnight that helps! My most important requirement is that I want someone who wants a home in London rather than just somewhere to crash... It's pretty relaxed here so would suit someone who's intelligent, laid-back and has a good sense of humour. If it sounds like you're kind of thing, get in touch...
PS - I've just put these pics up to give you an idea. I will put up ones of the bedroom, when my current flattie is not sleeping in it!
