We are a professional gay couple, 47 & 53, and divide our time between London and Manchester - me mostly Manchester, him mostly London. We have three rooms for lodgers, currently occupied by one other professional and two mature students. One room is now coming available from 1st May. Would suit another professional or mature student, gay or straight.

The house is of the largest style of new houses in Hulme. It is a 4 story town-house, and surprisingly quiet for its location. It is right next to Hulme High Street, with Asda & the Leisure Centre literally 2 minutes away. It is 15 minutes walk to the Universities and the Hospital, and only 30 minutes walk to Manchester city centre. It is on the 85, 86 & 46/47 bus routes from Chorlton to Manchester; and also east-west routes to Flixton & Altrincham, Trafford Park, Longsight & Cheetham. A taxi to or from the city centre costs just £6-8.

The large first floor double room is recently repainted and refurnished, with brand-new double bed and bedside cabinet, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bookcase, armchair & side table. It is at the front of the house, with large double windows onto the street.

The three lodgers share the first floor bathroom between them (our own bedroom is en-suite), and have access to all the facilities of a large and comfortable, modern house, including wifi broadband throughout.

The large kitchen has all mod cons, and it's own breakfast table. Each of the lodgers has their own kitchen storage space. The living/dining room has a sofa, stereo, and a dining table that seats from 4-8. It has a window and patio doors to the garden.

The garden is sheltered as well as south-facing, so a real sun-trap in the good weather. The patio table & bench are always there for whenever the weather is good enough to eat outdoors, and we have soft garden chairs, and even hammock and a barbeque for when making a day of it!

The garden leads on to the secure private car park at the back, with a space available for your car, and we have an indoor bike store as well.
