I have a substantial double room available for rent in my cottage in the picturesque village of Carrington, Midlothian. The cottage is well presented and has large gardens, both front and rear for you to enjoy. The village is within easy commuting distance of Edinburgh with excellent bus links from Newtongrange (3miles away). The bus service is cheap, regular, reliable and has a journey time of about 30 minutes and I used it regularly to commute into the city centre. Newtongrange has numerous pubs, shops, leisure centre, library and other amenities.

Dalkeith is also within 10 minutes drive and has a large 24hr Tesco and other supermarkets such as Lidl, Farmfoods etc all within easy reach for bigger food shops. Needless to say you would need a car for shopping!

Carrington is set in beautiful open countryside and has stunning walking and cycling etc on the doorstep so if you enjoy an outdoor life then this pad would be perfect to escape the bustle of the city whilst staying within easy reach.

The rent quoted would not include bills which I would expect to come to £70 per month (council tax, electric etc).
