Hello Everyone,
We have a room available to let from the 14th of February in Hermitage Road, Manor House, N4. It's a 4 bedroom terraced house with a garden and off street parking located in a quiet residential street. All the shops are near by: 24 hour Sainsbury's, Iceland, Tesco. Most Turkish shops are open 24 hours. Lots of nice restaurants and cafes. Finsbury Park is 5 min walk. There is a free outdoor gym with basic equipment. Wood Green shopping centre is just 10 min by bus.
Extremely good transport connection. Manor House tube station (Piccadilly Line)is only 10 - 12 min walk. There is a Victoria line from Finsbury Park - 15 min to Oxford Circus. Harringey Green Lanes overground station is just 10 min walk. Harringey railway station another 10 min walk. There are 3 busses: 141, 341 and 29 - 24 hour. There are more buses going to Manor House: 253, 254, 259, 279 (some of them are night buses, too). You are spoilt for choice. Easy to get home home at night.
There are 3 girls living at the moment in the house. We are from UK. Two of us are working: publishing company and a solicitor. The third girl is a student. We are all friendly, quiet, working professionals looking for somebody similar who is clean and tidy. We get on really well.
The atmosphere in the house is very important to us. We like to get on well with people, to have an occasional dinner together or a bbq (the garden is perfect for that). We are looking for somebody who respects other people and their privacy. There are certain rules in the house like no smoking (if you smoke, you can only smoke outside).
The house is quite spacious. There is a kitchen and a separate living room with a sofa, 2 armchairs, etc. We have a new combi boiler (installed just a month ago), therefore instant hot water. All windows are double glazed. There is a small rear garden. It is private (a fence on both sides). The house was refurbished just before we moved in in September. All the beds, wardrobes and chest of frawers are new (purchased in September 2011). There are 2 bathrooms: 1 with a bath tub, another one with just a shower.
The room is small double room. It has a double bed, wardrobe and a chest of drawers. The rent is £110 pw including council tax, water rates and Virgin broadband. Electricity and gas are extra and come up to approximately £20 - 30pm.
3 weeks deposit and 1 week rent in advance required. Minimum stay is 3 months. When you decide to move out you will be required to give a 3 weeks notice, hence the deposit. The deposit will be refunded at the end subject to 3 weeks notice and the condition of the room. To reserve the room £100 holding deposit will be required. You will get a receipt. The rest will be paid on the moving in day (minus £100). Professional people and students only please.
