Rooms to rent at Jangchub Ling Buddhist Centre. You don't have to be a Buddhist to live here, all that's needed is a friendly and peaceful nature. We have meditation classes running throughout the week which you are welcome to attend as part of your rent and a cafe which also gets used for social gatherings. We're a relaxed and easy going bunch, down to Earth and pretty normal! In most respects living at Jangchub Ling Centre is like living in any other shared house, though please be aware that we don't allow t. v's on the property. You don't have to be veggie to live here, but storing & cooking meat on the premises isn't allowed (bringing in a takeaway with meat in it is fine if you eat it in your room). If you're after a peaceful life in a friendly environment, this could be the place for you. The rooms vary in size and are well kept. Residents are expected to help keep common areas clean. There is a shared sitting area and a shared kitchen. The kitchen does get used occasionally to cook food for courses, but we try to keep this to a minimum and always leave it clean & tidy. Local amenities include: bus & train station just around the corner, with regular, cheap trains into Birmingham and easy access to the countryside, local high st, large Tesco's & Lidl, small park right outside & Mousesweet nature reserve at the bottom of the street.
